Finally, done the lines, sweet jaysus. I never expected this image to be so time consuming,… there’s a reason I never do images like this digitally, but this was very refreshing and a good brush up on inking.
It’s Llev! being all.. booky. You won’t be able to see his freckles till the colour version, but he’s got plenty of ‘em. If I didn’t mention before, this is his new, revisited version. He’s all ordinary and human looking, much to his dismay.
As much of a pain in the ass this pic was, I’d love to do portraits of Llev’s entire family— Felix, Tak, Meph, Red, Yhihre, Sai, Makura, Baal… and maybe Levistus, but I dunno if he counts, being so far removed.
A commission I’m working on. : ) Now, to add colour!
